So I'm finally going to blog about state camp. Whoo!
I think it was around six when I reached school. No one was there. I had my giant bag, (Not sure why I even had that bag with me) sling bag, (Containing my notes, torch, water, bandage, forage and a cereal bar) and the division stuff with my water bottle inside.
Then around 6.15 a car parked next to the sidewalk. I thought "Yay! Finally someone is here!" Then I saw the St. John Cross/ Star of the Republic of Amalfi*/ Maltese Cross* on a black collared white shirt. Then he said "Hi," I replied "Do I know you?" This is how it went:
St. John Guy 1: Hi
Me: Do I know you?
St. John Guy 1: I'm from Seaport
Me: Oh, I see. Hi I'm Elson
St. John Guy 1: Hi I'm (Forgot his name...sorry)
When he started taking things out of the car I saw his Full-U. Whoa! Double service efficiency badges and the 100 hour badge (or what Aaron and Heeran calls it '100 year badge') (The other two didn't who was with him wasn't very interactive so I won't blog about them but just to let you know they are there) Then one by one, more of the familiar faces started coming.
Before long, we were on the bus and on the way to Kepong. Everyone was talking about knowledge and the people in charge. Obviously there are also a few gossiping about I-dont-know-what. Then we reached Kepong. All the Kepong St. John started loading their stuff. Aris, Kar Keong, Shiva and Heeran started commenting about them. Only another 2 hours from camp.
Soon Sofea came up to Aaron and started talking. Somehow the topic became about form 1s then Wei Wen and Pui Yee and Aaron said "She's (Pui Yee) going out with a certain ambulance cadet. (The rest shall be censored for the certain ambulance cadet) Then certain ambulance cadet started saying "Why did you tell?!" Aaron said "I just said a certain ambulace cadet" and it goes on.
After a grueling but fun 2 hours... We reached!
I thought "This should be fun"

Last Day Concert
Most probably other people might be blogging about this and they might make this more interesting but this is my view of it. Not the view of a performer or spectator but as an AEC (Backstage, audio, mic people)
The thing was meant for 2 teachers who are retiring, forgot who (No offense)
It started with Pn Hjh Norsham making a speech. At the same time, the ketua AEC (Nigel) was telling me and Syahmi to set up the chairs. First, 5 chairs for the teachers then 6 chairs for a performance. We wanted to place the chairs in a pattern of black, white, black, white then black but the teachers were getting impatient so we just dumped it there.
After that, we started talking to the performers waiting outside. We called Xi Shern's name a couple of times and he looked left, right and all over the place before looking up. Then, most of them saw us and gave us some kind of look. Then, the teachers started staring so we cut it out.
Soon, performer after performer came up and... performed. Then came one performer who was like juggling some kind of thing. She kept making mistakes and we had to pick up the things that flew all over the place.
So, after the whole thing finished, we just kept all the mics, off the lights and the day was over. I think I'm going to miss all the things I do up on stage. Can't wait for next year.

Phiten
A few days ago my sis started talking about Phiten. Phiten is a company that makes interesting looking stuff out of titanium, the metal. It is supposed to help prevent and cure soreness, aches and all sorts of other crap.
So, on one fine day my sis wants to go to Pavilion the big fancy shopping complex where almost everything is over priced. Then we came across a Phiten shop and went in.
Inside, one of the people who wants to take our money a.k.a salesmen asks my dad to try lifting a bottle with a finger. Then he put a Phiten necklace on my dad's hand and ask him to lift it up again. My dad says 'I don't fell any difference' Not sure whether skeptical or really no difference. Then the salesman asks him to try again.
As my father continues for quite a while, me and my sis goes of looking at all their stuff. So many cool looking as well as the ones that don't look as nice. Then, we saw a really cool looking one and asked how much was it. They started saying it's limited edition, very good blah blah blah so we decided to forget about it.
Then my sis saw a 'reasonable' priced one. It was a micro titan ball which costs RM145. She started trying on a few of them seeing which looked nicest on her. After around what seemed like hours of trying on the same 3 necklaces she decides to ask me of my perspective. I said the black one looked nice. She replies 'Really?' Then she goes trying it on then another and another. Finally she chose the black one.
Then my dad asks 'El, do you want one?' I reply 'I won't mind' Then he asked me to choose one. I liked the X30 design but not it's color. So I asked if there was a different color but same design. The salesman brought me to the other end of the store. There had a few other colors. There were two interesting ones. A black and grey one and a black, grey and white one. Both looked nice but I preferred the black and grey because the other one stands out really obviously. The x30 costs RM160 which was Rm15 more than my sister's one.
The total price was RM 305. If we had purchased RM95 more, we could have got some sort of point thing. But we didn't.
So, whether it works or it's a placebo effect, at least it works in one way or the other.

# 0355
I've got nothing to do and I've received a request to update my blog so...
Today, Miss Tan asked Aaron, Sue, Amanda, Dhaarshini, Sanggari & yours truly to help her out during MM. If I knew what was going to happen, I might have second thoughts about helping out.
So after recess, I went to the teachers room as asked with Aaron. There, teacher passed us a bag of Aerobikthon cards and told us to confirm the amounts donated. So we started counting, counting, counting, making mistakes, counting. It was rather tedious and boring but better than stuck in the library.
After the excruciating task, I asked teacher if she needed anymore help (because I'm so helpful ;D). And unfortunately she had another 'favour', she wanted us to arrange the cards in ascending order. It was rather simple except for a few missing cards here and there which were found later EXCEPT, card # 0355. We first thought it was mixed with another pile so we searched and searched. Soon, we reached close to a mental breakdown. We searched at least 4 times each class over and over again. Then Miss Tan said, 'Nevermind, I'll try to sort it out,'. Just like that I felt so relieved.
Then she asked us to keep the cards. We stacked it up according to class. After that, the pile was so tall that for a short moment we didn't know how to put it into the bag. So we decided to just put the bag over it. As I was doing so, Aaron kept talking about the Tsunami at Jakarta. I was distracted by that for a moment that my shirt and tie got stuck under the pile. As I pulled it out, my shirt was untucked and my tie out of shape.
Later we found out that we wasted almost all MM time and I couldn't finish my theory wok :'(
P.S. # 0355 is still stuck in my head
